Whole House Water Filter uses a patented media; KDF® (U.S. Patent 4,642,192) and Premium Bituminous Coal Acid Washed Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) as filtration media.

 

  • KDF (listed under NSF 61 (Heath Effect) for water treatment plant applications) has been tested to dramatically reduce or effectively remove chlorine, lead, mercury, copper, nickel, arsenic, chromium and other dissolved heavy metals that may present in the water, bacteria, rust and scales

 

  • GAC reduces or effectively removes chlorine, trihalomethanes (THM), pesticides, industrial solvents (halogenated hydrocarbons), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and hundreds of other organic contaminants that may present in the water, bad taste, odors and sediment.
